Standard Disclaimer: This umbrella comparison experiment was commissioned by the Shenzhen Consumers' Association and conducted by the Shenzhen Institute of Quality Consumption. The experiment compared multiple functions of 10 umbrellas/sun umbrellas from 8 brands. Samples were purchased from supermarkets or online stores.
Overview:
1. All 10 sun umbrellas exhibited superior UV protection and wind resistance.
2. JUST MODE, Paradise, and Xihu brands did not meet the standard requirements for rain protection. 4 out of 10 best-selling sun umbrellas did not provide rain protection?
3. The Xihu brand sun umbrella's stitching did not meet the standard requirements. 4 out of 10 best-selling sun umbrellas did not provide rain protection?
4. The German-imported iRain brand umbrella lacked a Chinese-labeled product name, manufacturer name, and address, violating Article 27 of the "Product Quality Law of the People's Republic of China".
