On January 3, a group from the Zhejiang Provincial Urban Science Research Association, led by Pan Yunhe, a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, director of the Foreign Affairs Committee, and executive vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited Hangzhou Tiangong Umbrella Group for guidance.
Accompanied by Chen Xiaolei, the group's vice president, President Pan and his entourage visited the product showroom and watched the company's promotional video in the meeting room. They learned in detail about the development history and management of the Tiangong Group. They fully affirmed the group's humane management, industry development status, corporate development strategy, and philosophy, and gave high praise to the work done by the Tiangong Group in independent innovation, technological achievement transformation, and corporate culture construction.
President Pan also carefully listened to Vice President Chen Xiaolei's introduction of the company's product development situation and expressed the hope that the company would delve deeper into the artistic language and patterns suitable for creative rain and sun umbrella products in product design, develop new products, and explore new styles of visual aesthetics. As the chairman of the judging committee of the "Mayor's Cup" Creative Hangzhou Industrial Design Competition, President Pan highly praised the company's participation in the competition for six consecutive years. He believes that traditional manufacturing enterprises like Tiangong Umbrella should actively participate in this type of activity, learn advanced creative thinking and methods, and actively promote the transformation and upgrading of enterprises.
During the exchange, Vice President Chen Xiaolei introduced the Tiangong's cultural and creative products, the "Bamboo Language" series and the "Tiangong West Lake Silk Umbrella" series, to President Pan and his entourage, and said that the company is actively cooperating with Taiwanese cartoonist Cai Zhizhong, Chinese oil painting master Chen Lan, and other artistic masters to develop many new cultural and creative products. President Pan gave great recognition to this and pointed out that there is greater development space for rain and sun umbrella products in terms of cultural derivation. Tiangong should go out more, broaden its horizons, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, and promote cultural inheritance and innovation.
President Pan, who once served as the chairman of the Zhejiang Provincial Computer Association, also inquired about the development status of Tiangong's e-commerce products. He believes that the e-commerce market is a good platform that needs to be developed and improved. The Tiangong Group should integrate resources, lay out a reasonable and standardized plan, further explore, and find a model suitable for the company's development, such as M to C (factory to customer), O to O (offline to online), etc.
Finally, Academician Pan wished the Tiangong Group greater development in the future and become a backbone enterprise that plays a huge role in promoting the economic development of Hangzhou.
